A Digital Footprint is information about someone that is on the computer of internet. Everything you do on the internet can be traced. Like if you took a photo of you and your friends or if you by like a pair of shoes or clothes online. It can all be tracked down by anyone.
Digital Citizenship is where someone is nice about others work online and is also respectful of other people. A good digital citizen will respect the privacy of others and interact appropriately with others.
Some positive examples of a good digital citizen is someone who respects others and having good and appropriate language. Another example of a good digital citizen is someone who respects other peoples privacy.
Some negative examples of a bad digital citizen is using inappropriate language to hurt people or if someone posts or writes something bad about someone. Another example is someone might get to mush video fame or texting in their head and not get enough sleep which can make friend relationships worse.
Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
Hi, my name is Riley. I go to West Middle School in Anamosa, Iowa. I am 12 years old. I have 1 sister. My favorite sports are basketball, softball, and volleyball. My favorite food is pizza and my favorite dessert is chocolate or vanilla ice cream. My favorite animal is a dolphin. I play the bass drum in band. In my free time I love to read and go swimming. My favorite color is blue and purple. My favorite college football team is the Iowa Hawkeyes and my favorite pro teams are the Indioappolis Colts and the Dallas Cowboys.
